Al llegar al final del 2011, me gustaría desearle a todos ustedes una maravillosa temporada de Navidad y Año Nuevo lleno de optimismo, salud y prosperidad. Aquí en El Tiempo New Orleans, hemos trabajado duro para informar a nuestros lectores y entretener al mismo tiempo. Espero que lo hemos logrado en estos últimos 12 meses. Para mí ha sido un placer conocer a todos nuestros invitados y escuchar las historias que tenián que contar. Siempre he creído que uno puede aprender de las experiencias de los demás y por eso en es tan importante para mí incluir estas historias que despiertan interés y estimulan a nuestros lectores. También espero que se haya logrado en el 2011.

El Año Nuevo 2012 ya promete ser interesante aqui en ETNO. Hemos estado trabajando en nuestro sitio Web para hacerlo más amigable y obtener mejores comentarios de parte de ustedes. Cuando puedan vayan a www.eltiemponeworleans.com y háganos saber qué piensa, comentando en los diferentes enlaces. Nuestro objetivo es hacerles un hábito diario para que leán las noticias que les interese en nuestro sitio Web. También estamos evaluando lo que han dicho, y planeamos incluir otras secciones de interés en nuestro periódico para que realmente leán lo que le interesa a la comunidad local. Después de todo, este es su periódico y trabajamos para ustedes, así que lo que tengan que decir es importante para nosotros.

Una vez más, gracias por ser tan leales en el 2011 y prometemos ser más grande y mejor en el 2012. Desde el fondo de mi corazón, les deseo que su bella Navidad este año y tengan una temporada de vacaciones maravillosa y segura. A mis compañeros de trabajo  y socios de medios de comunicación, gracias por su duro trabajo este año porque nada de esto hubiera sido posible sin su paciencia y creatividad. Salud!

As we come to the end of 2011, I would like to wish all of you a wonderful Christmas season and a New Year full of optimism, health, and prosperity. Here at El Tiempo New Orleans, we have worked hard to inform our readers and entertain at the same time. We hope we have accomplished this in these last 12 months. For me it’s been a pleasure meeting all of our guests and listening to the stories they had to tell.  I have always believed that one can learn from others’ experiences and that is why it’s so important for me to include stories that spark interest and are thought provoking in our issues. I hope we achieved this in 2011.

The New Year 2012 already promises to challenge us here at ETNO. We have been working on our website in order to make it more user friendly and get better feedback from you. Please take a look at it at www.eltiemponeworleans.com and let us know what you think by commenting on the different links. Our goal is to make it a daily habit for you to read the news that interest you on our website. Also we are evaluating what you have said, and we plan to include other sections of interest in our newspaper so that you actually read what interests the local community. After all, this is your newspaper and we work for you so what you have to say matters to us.

Once again, thank you for being so loyal in 2011 and we promise to be bigger and better in 2012. From the bottom of my heart, may your Christmas be blessed this year and have a wonderful and safe holiday season.
