1. ¿De donde eres y cuanto tiempo tienes de vivir aquí?Nací en ciudad de Guatemala, Guatemala. He vivido aquí durante 30 años.
2. ¿Cual es tu profesión?
Soy Director de Entrenamiento para Louisiana Fire Soccer Club que es una organización de fútbol.
3. ¿Cuál ha sido el momento más gratificante de tu carrera?
Los momentos más satisfactorios seguin siendo cuando los jugadores que he entrenado regresan a visitarme o se mantienen en contacto conmigo y me dicen que el haber sido parte de un equipo que entrene fue una experiencia positiva para ellos.
4. ¿Qué querías ser cuando eras pequeño?
Obviamente, lo que cada niño de donde soy quiere ser, un jugador de fútbol.
5. ¿Quién o qué te inspira?
Primero, mi familia y su apoyo. Segundo, la evolución del fútbol en los Estados Unidos.
6. El mejor consejo que has recibido.
Como un entrenador de fútbol, vas a morir aprendiendo sobre el deporte, así que no creas que lo sabes todo.
7. Cuentanos más sobre el partido de fútbol internacional para el mes próximo para recaudar fondos para el Louisiana Fire Soccer Club.
Louisiana Fire Soccer Club presentará el primer Louisiana Fire Champions Cup Festival que concluirá con un partido de fútbol entre el Chicago Fire de la MLS (Major League Soccer) y el Club Deportivo Real España de Honduras. El festival será una celebración de comida Americana y Latina, música y fútbol internacional. El partido de fútbol internacional y el festival tendrá lugar en Tad Gormley Stadium en Nueva Orleans el 4 de febrero a partir de las 11:00 de la mañana. Todas las ganancias del festival serán utilizadas para becas y para mejorar las instalaciones y los campos de fútbol del club.

I was born in Guatemala City, Guatemala. I have lived here for 30 years.
What do you do for a living?
I am a Director of Coaching for the Louisiana Fire Soccer Club which is a soccer organization.
What has been the most satisfying moment of your career?
The most satisfying moments continue to be when players that you have coached come back to visit and/or keep in touch with you and they tell you how much of a positive experience it was for them to be part of a team that I coached.

Tell us more about the international soccer match happening next month to raise funds for Louisiana Fire Soccer Club.
Obviously, what every kid where I come from wants to be, a soccer player.
One, my family and their support. Two, the evolution of soccer in the USA.
As a soccer coach, you will die learning about the sport so don’t think that you know it all.
The Louisiana Fire Soccer Club will host the first annual Louisiana Fire Champions Cup Festival which will conclude with a professional soccer game between the Chicago Fire from MLS (Major League Soccer) and Club Deportivo Real España of Honduras.The festival will be a celebration of American and Latin food, music and international soccer.The festival and international soccer match will take place at Tad Gormley Stadium in New Orleans on February 4, starting at 11:00 am. All proceeds from the festival will be used for player scholarships and improving the club’s soccer fields and facilities.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
I see myself giving back to the game of soccer, what the game of soccer has given to me so far.
