Allan y Joel

Allan y Joel son dos artistas nuevos que a pesar de su corta amistad han logrado ya mucho musicalmente. Joel es de Honduras y Allan, un nativo de Nueva Orleans de ascendencia hondureña, se conocieron hace dos años, pero al escucharlos y verolos cantar, uno pensaría que ya tienen mucho tiempo haciendo esto. Recientemente el video de "Soltera" fue lanzado en Facebook y ya ha recibido muchos "Likes" y comentarios. Una canción con un ritmo bailable y muy pegajosa, Allan reflexionó sobre lo que sintió en el estudio cuando la grabaron. "Mi mejor recuerdo es la vibra que sentí  y lo el poder crecer con Joel como artista", dijo el. Sin embargo, Joel dijo que él se sintió un poco estresado cuando cierta parte del coro no salía bien pero gracias al profesionalismo todos, se logró y todos quedaron contentos con el producto final. El describe su música como agradable y capaz de llenar a la gente por la letra de los temas que cantan. Allan está de acuerdo y agrega que sus canciones y la música positiva apelan a diferentes audiencias. ¿Quién o qué los inspira? Allan dice que la vida en general porque siente que cada experiencia puede transformarse en una canción. Joel dice que su familia y el deseo de hacer sus sueños realidad lo inspiran. ¿Qué escuchan cuando no trabajan? Joel dice Marc Anthony, Luis Fonsi y Camila. Allan dice que la suya es una lista versátil que incluye Drake, Miguel Jontel, Joan Manuel Serrat y Cultura Profetica. Cuando se les preguntó que nos dijeran algo que nadie sabe acerca de ellos. Joel respondió, "Nadie sabe que Allan tiene la costumbre de lleva siempre un lápiz o pluma con él en todo momento." Allan comparte su respuesta sobre Joel diciendo que "Algo que no saben acerca de Joel es que él era un gran futbolista cuando él era joven y le ofrecieron jugar en varios equipos en Honduras.” Independientemente, lo que nadie sabe es hasta qué punto este dúo va a ir en el mundo musical, pero por nuestra corazonada, va a ser muy lejos…despues de todo es lo que los apasiona y eso dice mucho.

Allan y Joel are two up and coming artists who despite their young friendship have accomplished a lot musically already. Joel is from Honduras and Allan, a New Orleans native of Honduran descent, met only two years ago, but to listen to them sing and perform, you would think they’d been doing this for a very long time. Recently the video for “Soltera” was released on Facebook and has already received many “likes” and comments. A catchy song with an upbeat sound, Allan reflected on what he felt in the studio when they went in to record it. “My best memory was just being able to vibe so well in the studio and grow so much with Joel as an artist,” he said.  Joel however said he felt a bit stressed when a certain part of the chorus was not coming out correctly but thanks to everyone’s professionalism, they got it right and everyone was happy with the final product. He describes their music as pleasant and capable of making people feel happy because of the topics they sing about. Allan agrees and adds that their positive music and songs appeal to different audiences. Who or what inspires them? Allan says life in general because he feels every experience can be turned into a song. Joel says his family and the desire to make his dreams come true inspire him. What do they listen to when they’re not working? Joel says Marc Anthony, Luis Fonsi and Camila. Allan says his is a versatile playlist which includes Drake, Miguel Jontel, Joan Manuel Serrat and Cultura Profetica. When asked to tell us something no one knows about them. Joel responded, “No one know that Allan has a habit of always taking a pencil or pen with him at all times.” Allan shared his response about Joel saying, “Something no one knows about Joel is that he was a great soccer player when he was younger and was offered to play on several teams in Honduras.” Regardless, what no one knows is how far this duo will go in the musical world but by our hunch, it will be very far…after all they’re doing what they feel passionate about and that counts for a lot.
